First update - 2025.10.21

Well... here we are. I've finally gotten off my ass and started actually doing something with this idea for a Star Trek fanfic I've had rumbling around in my head since I was a teenager. After so many years of just stumbling through my day-to-day with no real creative outlet, I decided to finally just take the plunge and put thoughts and ideas to paper (well, digitally-speaking anyway). It's been a long road, getting from there to here... *ahem*, sorry, I couldn't resist.

So what's all this about then? Well, it's... a fan fiction series, part of a long tradition of original-character-do-not-steal storytelling that has been so engrained in Star Trek fandom since nearly the beginning. And it's also a website, a hobby learning project, and a statement about an ethos of individual creative spaces that the modern internet seems to have completely abandoned. In its own weird way, it's an attempt at a reclamation project in a world that feels increasingly pessimistic, commodified, hollow, and devoid of humanity. My own little creative corner of the internet, and maybe you'll find something interesting here for yourself. And if not, that's fine too.

Anyway, watch this space for more. I'm making at least minor updates to the site every day as this project starts to come together. In the background and offline, I've been writing the stories that will eventually make their way here onto the site. My goal is to provide something entertaining that evokes a specific feel through my particular interpretation of the Star Trek universe. Episodes will take the form of novellas, something in between shorter, light-fiction stories like the old Star Trek: SCE series of eBooks (which were around 50-70 pages each) and proper novellas like the first four Star Trek: New Frontier books by the late Peter David. I'll go into more detail about the setting and series premise in later updates here on the homepage.

If something here catches your attention, if you have comments, praise, feedback, or questions, feel free to reach out! Right now you can best do so by leaving a comment on this page's Neocities profile, and I'll be setting up alternative methods of contacting me (likely Discord, or maybe a guestbook or Bluesky/Mastadon) at some point after the stories actually start going live.
